Equistro® approached us about doing a brand refresh for their sporting equine supplement line. As part of a larger entity, Equistro® had existing branding from their parent company, Vetoquinol. Taking notes from sport athletic aesthetics, we repositioned their brand to stand alone among their competitors with custom imagery and a sophisticated brand aesthetic.

DESIGN BRIEF
Using the Equistro logo as a jumping off point, I wanted the artwork to have diagonal lines to create a sense of movement. Additionally, the client wanted certain areas of the horse to be highlighted to indicate areas of focus. With this in mind, the initial creative attempted to bring equine sports into modernity with high-contrast lighting and diagonal elements.
Implementation
To allow each product to stand on its own, multiple horse graphics were created to highlight the focus area. In addition to the horse graphics, the product images were retouched to match the aesthetic. The result was a new sports action campaign for the equine athlete appearing in print ads, sell sheets for distributors and other trade show material.

To showcase the new branding, a product brochure was created in both trifold and quad-fold soft touch UV coated stock. This allowed for the branding to come full circle with accompanying duo-tone graphics that interact with the folds.
